Automated Control System for Coke Dosing
Field of application: blast-furnace production.
Purpose: automatic coke dosing, reduction of coke consumption.
System components: electronic scales of coke bins, programmable logic controllers, operator’s graphic workstation.
System tasks:
1. Automatic control over coke dosing – generation of control signals taking into account dosing errors in the previous dosing cycles and coke humidity.
2. Detection of emergency and critical situations, generation of alarm and warning signals.
3. Determination of the charged coke amount in every dosing cycle, statistics storage.
4. Diagnostics of system availability.
