Automated Control System for Heat Load of Blast Furnace Cooling Staves
Field of application: blast-furnace production.
Purpose: to prevent tuyere burnout, to create conditions for efficient control over the blast furnace cooling system.
System components: digital temperature sensors in pressure-water pipes and outgoing water pipes, temperature controllers, operator’s workstation.
System tasks: 1. To measure and record the current heat load parameters of cooling staves and tuyeres. 2. To generate alarm signals if there is danger of tuyere burnout. 3. To organize the operator’s workstation for realization of the system control functions. 4. To display data about the process variables as symbolic diagrams and graphs.
