System of Control over the Parameters of Main Electric Drives on Reversing Mills

Field of application: duo reversing mills.

Purpose: to improve maintainability of rolling stands equipment due to prevention of unstable and emergency schedules; to reduce downtimes.

System components: distributed data acquisition system (electric, hydraulic and temperature parameters of equipment operation), central control cabinet, workstations for data processing and reports generation.

System tasks: to acquire data from primary sensors, to generate database, to control equipment operation parameters and generate data messages for the personnel, to generate reports of emergency and off-nominal situations in automatic mode.
